Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Comprehensive Plan: customized plan based on assessment of student’s requirements.
Conduct in-depth kickoff call and regular quarterly 1:1 meetings. Provide responsive, ongoing email communications throughout the year.
Provide exercises, tools and guidance to explore academic and career interests and to identify personal goals, qualities and strengths.
Research, identify and evaluate enrichment/extracurricular activities (summer and after-school programs year-round)
Develop test plan (PSAT, ACT/SAT, Subject Tests, AP)
Advise on course selection and curriculum
Senior Year Comprehensive Plan: advise and support students at every step of the application process.
Especially designed for seniors, this program is designed to start in the spring of students’ junior year or the summer after. Plan fees vary depending on number of schools.
Typical engagements include:
Conduct in-depth kickoff call and regular quarterly 1:1 meetings. Provide responsive, ongoing email communications throughout the year.
Provide guidance and strategy on developing essays, including topic selection. Starting in the summer, provide feedback and coaching on an intensive basis.
Create a summary of high school accomplishments and activities (“brag sheet” or resume).
Develop a balanced list of schools, including reach – target – safety.
Design a personalized action plan for successful completion of college applications.
Evaluate whether to apply early decision or early action to specific schools.
Understand how schools administer merit and need-based financial aid.
Conduct mock interviews (as needed).
Assist in final college selection. Evaluate college admission offers and financial aid packages.
